Job Description
As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Missouri City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting employees, visitors, and operations. - Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, trailer yards, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting the orderly flow of vehicles and personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
