Painter - Cedar Falls, IA
Payrate: $18.85 Hourly
1st Shift: Either 8 hour days (4:45am to 1:15pm) or 10 hour days (4:45am to 3:15pm)
As a Painter you will be a crucial part of our operations! Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
- Be able to paint all parts to an acceptable standard
- Know how to do a viscosity test
- Know how to adjust volumes and the viscosity of paint
- Know how to add paint and catalyze per system
- Know how and where to document the different procedures.
- Know how to use the MSDS book
- Know how to change fluid filters
- Do equipment adjustments and minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean work area to meet the 5S standard.
- Do routine clean-up of paint equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting problems during paint operations
- Rework any paint defects as soon as they are discovered.
- Attention to detail
- Keep a positive, upbeat attitude
Qualifications
- Industrial Painting experience is preferred
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to wear a full paint suit, including a hood
- Ability to work overtime as needed
