Inspector
Pay: $16.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM (or until finished)
Job Summary
We are hiring Inspectors to perform detailed inspections of new vehicles before they are loaded for transport. This position is responsible for identifying and documenting any damage or missing equipment to ensure vehicles meet quality standards prior to shipment. This is an active, outdoor role that requires walking throughout the shift and working around vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles for scratches, dents, paint defects, and other cosmetic damage.
- Check for missing parts, accessories, or equipment.
- Perform undercarriage inspections by bending, kneeling, and looking underneath vehicles.
- Accurately document inspection findings.
- Follow established quality and inspection procedures.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines.
- Communicate any issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous inspection, quality control, automotive, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Able to bend, kneel, crouch, and work around vehicles.
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work overtime as needed until all inspections are completed.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach under vehicles.
- Work in varying weather conditions if inspections are performed outdoors.
- Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
