As a HCP Engagement Operations Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding teams within our Risk and Compliance practice, focusing on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients. You will provide advisory and practical support across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas, helping organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.
As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Leading risk management initiatives to support compliance and mitigate risks for clients
- Guiding teams in the strategic planning and execution of risk management projects
- Analyzing and identifying system interactions to enhance risk mitigation strategies
- Taking ownership of project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Collaborating with team leadership to maintain quality and timelines of deliverables
- Developing skills outside comfort zones and encouraging team growth
- Mentoring team members to deepen their skills and knowledge
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct
- Reviewing contracts to identify and monitor contractual risks effectively
- Implementing data security measures to protect confidential information
- Managing team member assignments, operational metrics, and service level agreements while providing guidance and oversight
- Confirming compliance with regulatory and company standards while driving operational excellence
- Supporting the effective coordination of all engagement across any of the assigned functional teams, including HCP Onboarding, Engagement Ambassadorship, Contracting, Invoicing and Payments and Transparency Reporting
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 to 11 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- At least 5 years of experience in HCP engagement operations, compliance, or pharmaceutical industry support
- Prior experience managing a team or leading operational processes
- Understanding of HCP compliance requirements (FMV, Sunshine Act, etc.)
