Position Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high-quality care according to each resident's individualized care plan
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
Obtain and document vital signs while promptly reporting changes in resident condition to the licensed nursing staff
Respond quickly to resident call lights and provide attentive, respectful care
Accurately document resident care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life
Qualifications
Current, active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting
Previous skilled nursing or post-acute experience is preferred but not required
