Obstetrics Technician - Labor and Delivery Full Time Night
OB Tech for our Labor and Delivery Department at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA (LA County Area). This position is full-time and will work 12-hour Night Shifts.
Prepares OR/LDR for surgery/delivery using appropriate techniques. Provides technical service and assists in OR/LDR as assigned or directed; provides personal care assistance to patients under supervision. Provides patient care over 50% of the time. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g. infants, adolescents, adults,) and participates in related continuing education. Attends nursing station; requisitions and maintains supplies, equipment, and services as directed. The position reports to the Nurse Manager.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of Surgical Technologist training or experience as OR Tech, Nursing Assistant
- Experience as OB Tech
