Interstate Maintenance Traffic Control Technician Sandston, VA Full Time Entry Level Share We are looking to hire a dedicated and observant Interstate Maintenance/Traffic Control Technician. To be successful in this position you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Ultimately, a top-notch Technician should demonstrate sound knowledge of state traffic regulations, as well as have exceptional observation, organizational and problem-solving skills We have entry level positions open.Traffic Control experience preferred.Responsibilities:Servicing an Interstate general maintenance & incident response contract.Day to day activities include but are not limited to, driving TMAs & Pickups to perform the following tasks on the interstate,-Remove debris-Pothole repair-Cutting trees-Removing dead animals-Litter pickup-Working as part of a team.-Working in harsh weather conditions.Incident Response:Providing traffic control for emergency responders on the interstate 24/7.-Setting up shoulder/lane closures-Shutting down on/off ramps-Shutting down the interstate-Marking damage-Cutting guardrailOn call rotation, week on, week off.Storm standby during adverse weather events. Location: Sandston Virginia near 295&64Must be a licensed driver for at least 3 years.Must have good driving record.Starting pay $16- What experience do you offer for more?  Share Apply Apply for this position Required* First Name* Last Name* Email Address* Phone* Address Resume* We've received your resume.
