The Vice President, Americas Field Marketing is a key member of the Marketing leadership team and will be responsible for defining and executing the regional marketing strategy that drives pipeline generation, revenue growth, customer engagement, and market leadership across the Americas. 

This executive leader will serve as a strategic business partner to Americas Sales leadership, collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel & Alliances, Customer Marketing, and Brand Marketing to align marketing investments with business priorities and revenue objectives. 

The ideal candidate is a transformational marketing executive with a proven track record of building high-performing field marketing organizations, accelerating enterprise pipeline, driving measurable business outcomes, and leading through influence across a complex, matrixed environment. They will also have strong AI fluency and flexibility to re-imagine workflows for greater efficiency and efficacy. 

 

What You'll Do 

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership 

  • Define and lead the Americas Field Marketing vision, strategy, and operating model in alignment with Cohesity's global go-to-market strategy. 

  • Serve as the senior marketing advisor to Americas Sales leadership, ensuring marketing programs directly support regional growth objectives and revenue targets. 

  • Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and customer trends. 

  • Partner with leadership teams to develop annual and quarterly business plans that align resources, investments, and priorities. 

  • Represent the voice of the customer and field organization within corporate marketing and executive planning discussions. 

Pipeline Growth & Revenue Impact 

  • Own the regional marketing strategy responsible for generating and accelerating pipeline across Enterprise, Commercial, Public Sector, and Strategic Accounts. 

  • Establish measurable performance goals tied to pipeline creation, opportunity acceleration, bookings influence, customer expansion, and partner engagement. 

  • Drive integrated multi-channel marketing programs that leverage: 

  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) 

  • Executive Engagement 

  • Industry Events 

  • Digital Campaigns 

  • Customer Advocacy 

  • Partner Marketing Initiatives 

  • Continuously optimize marketing performance through analytics, attribution reporting, and funnel-based decision making. 

Sales Alignment & Executive Engagement 

  • Build trusted relationships with senior sales leaders throughout the Americas. 

  • Partner with regional leadership on territory planning, account prioritization, and strategic opportunity engagement. 

  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), forecast reviews, and executive leadership planning sessions. 

  • Ensure field marketing programs are aligned to key sales plays, strategic accounts, and market opportunities. 

  • Develop executive engagement strategies that strengthen customer relationships and accelerate complex enterprise sales cycles. 

Events, Brand & Customer Experience 

  • Lead the Americas field events strategy, including executive roundtables, customer forums, roadshows, conferences, tradeshows, and industry events. 

  • Ensure consistent, world-class customer experience across all marketing touchpoints. 

  • Partner with Communications and Brand teams to strengthen Cohesity's market presence and thought leadership. 

  • Elevate customer advocacy programs that showcase measurable business outcomes and customer success stories. 

Partner & Ecosystem Marketing 

  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with strategic alliances and channel partners. 

  • Expand Cohesity's market reach through innovative co-marketing programs, both first and third party programs. 

  • Partner closely with AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, and other strategic ecosystem partners to drive awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth. 

  • Define partner marketing KPIs and investment frameworks that demonstrate business impact. 

Organizational Leadership 

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing Field Marketing organization across the Americas. 

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top marketing talent. 

  • Establish clear goals, accountability frameworks, and professional development plans. 

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, operational excellence, and measurable business impact. 

  • Lead managers and senior leaders while scaling organizational capabilities to support company growth. 

Operational Excellence & Financial Stewardship 

  • Own regional marketing budgets and investment decisions across programs, campaigns, events, and partnerships. 

  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize marketing effectiveness and ROI. 

  • Develop executive dashboards and business reviews that demonstrate marketing's contribution to revenue growth. 

  • Introduce scalable processes and operating rhythms that improve execution, forecasting, and performance visibility. 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline. 

  • 15+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience. 

  • 8+ years leading field marketing, demand generation, revenue marketing, or regional marketing organizations. 

  • Demonstrated success partnering with enterprise sales organizations to drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes. 

  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets and investment portfolios. 

  • Proven track record building and leading high-performing teams, including leaders of leaders. 

  • Deep understanding of: 

  • Field Marketing 

  • Demand Generation 

  • ABM 

  • Partner Marketing 

  • Customer Marketing 

  • Pipeline Analytics 

  • Revenue Operations 

Preferred 

  • MBA or advanced business degree. 

  • Experience within enterprise software, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, data management, or AI-related industries. 

  • Expertise with AI tools, Salesforce, Marketo, marketing attribution, and modern marketing analytics platforms. 

  • Experience supporting global and multi-region go-to-market organizations.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$278,400.00-$348,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
