Compliance Manager

Hybrid, NY$160k–$180kPosted Jul 30, 2026

Vega is one of the fastest-growing startups in cybersecurity, redefining security analytics and operations with an AI-native platform for the SOC. We are building the next-generation operating system for security teams - already delivering real impact at some of the world's largest organizations by improving detection, unlocking the value of their security data, and reducing cost and complexity. With HQs in New York and TLV, we're looking for people who want to be a part of the next rocket-ship in cyber.

The Role

You will own deal compliance at Vega: everything a prospect or customer needs from us to get a deal across the line. You are the single point of accountability for security questionnaires, Request for Proposal compliance responses, and the compliance knowledge base that powers them. You partner daily with Sales, Legal, and Security to remove compliance friction from the revenue pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Own and operate our compliance response platform (IRIS), including workflows, answer libraries, and integrations
  • Maintain and expand our compliance knowledge base and trust center in SafeBase, keeping all policies, certifications, and documentation current and customer ready
  • Respond to customer and prospect security and compliance questionnaires with accuracy and speed, coordinating subject matter experts where needed
  • Build and complete compliance checklists for Requests for Proposal, ensuring every response meets customer and regulatory requirements
  • Track questionnaire and Request for Proposal turnaround metrics and continuously improve response time and win support
  • Keep company policies aligned with the frameworks and commitments we present to customers
  • Act as the compliance point of contact for Sales during deal cycles, including customer calls when required

What You'll Bring

  • 7 or more years in security compliance, governance risk and compliance, or a similar function, with direct experience supporting sales or deal cycles
  • Hands on experience with compliance response or trust management platforms (for example IRIS, SafeBase, or similar tools)
  • Deep familiarity with common frameworks and standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
  • Proven track record answering enterprise security questionnaires and Request for Proposal compliance sections
  • Strong writing skills: clear, precise, customer facing answers under deadline pressure
  • Ability to work independently and drive cross functional stakeholders to deadlines

Certifications (Preferred)

  • One or more recognized security or compliance certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Salary ranges: $160K-$180K depending on experience and location.
