Warehouse & Logistics Technician
The Warehouse & Logistics Technician is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, control, and shipment of materials in support of manufacturing operations. This position ensures inventory accuracy, material traceability, and timely material availability while executing ERP transactions, supporting production, maintaining quality standards, and providing exceptional internal and external customer service.

This role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the organization.

Salary Information: $21.00/hr to $27.00/hr

Your Challenge

Receiving Operations

  • Receive incoming purchase orders, customer-supplied materials, consignment inventory, and other incoming shipments.

  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, overages, and documentation accuracy.

  • Verify packing slips, purchase orders, quantities, and part numbers prior to receipt.

  • Execute receiving transactions accurately in the ERP system.

  • Report discrepancies, damaged materials, or documentation issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.


Inventory Control

  • Perform accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined material handling and transaction processing.

  • Execute cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Participate in physical inventories and inventory audits.

  • Ensure materials are stored in designated warehouse locations using established FIFO and inventory management practices.

  • Maintain traceability of lot-controlled and serialized materials throughout warehouse operations.

  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement activities.


Material Handling & Production Support

  • Pick, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules.

  • Prepare production kits in accordance with work orders and planning requirements.

  • Replenish production materials and Kanban locations.

  • Perform material transfers between warehouse locations and production areas.

  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

  • Ensure timely material availability to minimize production downtime.


Shipping Operations

  • Process all outbound shipments within the ERP system, ensuring shipping transactions are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

  • Verify shipment contents against customer orders, packing lists, and shipping documentation.

  • Generate packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, certificates, and other required shipping documentation.

  • Package products in accordance with company packaging procedures, customer specifications, and carrier requirements.

  • Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments with approved carriers.

  • Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements, export regulations (when applicable), and company quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate shipping records and resolve shipping discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with Planning, Customer Service, and Production to ensure on-time shipment commitments are achieved.


Warehouse Organization & Continuous Improvement

What You Bring:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or material handling experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory transactions.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Inventory control and cycle count experience.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations.

  • Knowledge of lot control, serial number tracking, and material traceability.

  • Experience shipping domestic and international freight.
