What Drives Success

 

 Responsible for managing the rebate process which constitutes approximately 50% of the role's responsibilities. In addition, the individual will serve as the primary backup for factory reporting operations and participate in special business projects requiring accounting, cost accounting knowledge and knowledge in AI tools will be added advantage.

 

Energy rebate process - (50%)

  • Prepare, validate, and submit energy rebate application files through utility and energy solution portals.
  • Review customer rebate requests and verify eligibility based on utility program guidelines and product qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate rebate documentation and supporting records to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Track rebate submissions, approvals, and payments, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with sales, customers, distributors, utility providers, and third-party administrators to address rebate-related queries.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure rebate amounts are accurately processed and recorded.
  • Monitor rebate claim aging and proactively follow up on pending approvals and payments.
  • Analyze rebate trends and identify opportunities to maximize rebate realization for customers.
  • Support month-end reporting and provide rebate-related metrics to management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Factory Reporting Activities:

  • Prepare, validate, and publish daily factory performance reports.
  • Generate, validate, and distribute reports related to inventory management, labour efficiency and productivity, demand planning, demand vs. inventory analysis
  • Ensure timely delivery of all scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Maintain high levels of reporting accuracy and data integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary backup resource for factory reporting activities, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
  • Cross-train on multiple reporting processes to support business continuity and operational flexibility.

 

Special Projects:

  • Support special business projects assigned by management.
  • Contribute to special projects involving cost accounting, inventory valuation, productivity and efficiency analysis, process improvement initiatives, and operational performance enhancement
  • Work on projects requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles, manufacturing accounting, and cost accounting concepts.
  • Support automation and digitalization initiatives to improve reporting and operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or shared services operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management, manufacturing operations, and financial reporting is desirable.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting and cost accounting concepts will be beneficial.
