Team Overview

The Financial Services team partners with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions to help them maximize business performance through data, analytics, and information solutions. The team drives client growth, strengthens strategic relationships, and supports customers across the full lifecycle, from acquisition and portfolio management to collections and recovery. This team works closely with Sales, Strategy & Planning, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver value-driven solutions and achieve commercial growth objectives.

This job is assigned as On-Site Essential and requires in- person work at an assigned TU office location as a condition of employment.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, including market segments, customer needs, and industry trends, to support the adoption of existing and new solutions.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of financial institution clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior executives, strengthening customer engagement and long-term partnerships.

  • Identify, develop, and execute account growth strategies that expand solution adoption and increase revenue within existing accounts.

  • Prospect and pursue new business opportunities within the financial sector to expand TransUnion's client base and market presence.

  • Partner with clients to understand business challenges and recommend solutions that improve acquisition, portfolio management, collections, and overall business performance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align priorities, improve processes, support product enhancements, and ensure successful client outcomes.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issue resolution, and ongoing account management activities.

  • Monitor account performance, identify cross-selling opportunities, and reactivate dormant accounts to maximize commercial results.

  • Support monthly billing activities and revenue tracking to ensure achievement of committed business targets.


Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, providing the commercial, financial, and analytical foundation required to advise clients effectively.

  • 6-8 years of experience in B2B consultative sales, account management, or commercial roles, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and develop strategic client relationships.

  • Experience within Financial Services, Technology, or FinTech industries, with strong preference for candidates familiar with financial institution business models and challenges.

  • Knowledge of Retail Banking and Consumer Banking products and services to effectively identify opportunities and recommend relevant solutions to clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, provide strategic recommendations, and communicate effectively with senior business leaders and executives.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong consultative selling and account management capabilities focused on identifying growth opportunities and delivering client value.

  • Ability to analyze client needs, business performance, and market trends to develop strategic recommendations and commercial solutions.

  • Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools and sales reporting platforms to manage customer relationships and commercial activities.

  • Strong presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

  • Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1) with the ability to conduct business discussions and presentations in English.
