As a Manager in Deals Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the M&A landscape by supporting private equity and corporate clients in developing investment perspectives and value creation strategies. Within our Deals practice, you will lead a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. This role is based at the PwC Acceleration Center India, where you will contribute to the success of our clients by providing research, analytics, and knowledge management support across various industries.

As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to mentor and develop your team, confirming project success and maintaining standards. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. Your role will involve collaborating with US-based teams to support client development and engagements, while promoting new ideas and services to create value for clients and stakeholders. In this role at PwC, you will drive initiatives to develop innovation, engage with counterparts to build trust, and stay informed on the latest M&A trends, all while upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Responsibilities

- Leading teams in developing and implementing capabilities aligned with Deals Strategy focus areas
- Managing client engagements from strategy development to execution, confirming alignment with M&A objectives
- Developing standardized delivery modules, including vendor benchmarking and survey analysis
- Providing day-to-day coaching and mentorship to team members on work-planning and problem-solving
- Collaborating with US leadership to support client development and engagement activities
- Promoting innovative ideas and services by applying industry knowledge and societal trends
- Conducting competitive analysis and financial modeling to support strategic planning
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends to inform investment perspectives and value creation strategies
- Facilitating post-merger integration processes to optimize value creation for clients
- Encouraging new methodologies and technology adoption to enhance team performance and client outcomes

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for a Master's of Business Administration degree
- Demonstrating proficiency in M&A strategy and deal structures
- Utilizing analytical thinking for financial modeling and risk analysis
- Excelling in strategic planning and competitive analysis
