As a Pipe Fitter here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems that are critical to our building management and industrial solutions. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that piping installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the reliability and efficiency of building systems by ensuring precise and durable piping installations, contributing to overall project success and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Inspect and test piping systems to identify and resolve leaks, defects, or other issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work and ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all phases of work.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to the field service team as needed
  • Knowledge of pneumatics a plus. 
  • Traveling Northern MN to Grand Rapids/iron mountain and Eveleth. 
  • Knowledge on hydronic boilers and steam boilers.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 years of proven experience in pipe fitting, including installation and maintenance of piping systems in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of piping materials, tools, and techniques to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Experience with welding, cutting, and joining piping components using appropriate methods and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in pipe fitting and construction environments.
  • Must know commercial a/c and have knowledge of equipment and universal EPA 608 license. 
  • Must be able to pass county background checks and clear driving record.
