Pay Rate: $22.12 - $23.12 / Hour

- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter fencing, gates, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in daily activity reports and other required records.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
