At Boomerang, we're looking for a Client Services Director to lead our partnership with Heineken. This role will primarily focus on the Heineken Global social workstream, while also supporting Heineken Netherlands and Heineken Product Innovation. Alongside leading these client relationships, you will play an active role in driving growth and contributing to new business opportunities for the agency.
Overview
As Client Services Director, you are the senior strategic lead and trusted advisor across a portfolio of Heineken business. You are responsible for the overall health, growth, and success of the client relationship, ensuring exceptional service delivery, commercial performance, and high-quality work across all projects and workstreams.
You will lead the Heineken project team, strengthen collaboration across disciplines, and identify opportunities to grow existing business while helping bring new clients into the agency.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Growth
- Act as the senior client partner across Heineken Global, Heineken Netherlands, and Product Innovation.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic counsel.
- Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Contribute to new business development, pitches, and agency growth initiatives.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
Client Service & Operational Excellence
- Champion best-in-class client service across all workstreams.
- Oversee the successful delivery of social content, campaigns, sponsorships, and innovation initiatives.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between client service, strategy, creative, production, and project management teams.
- Maintain oversight of project quality, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Commercial & Financial Leadership
- Own account profitability, forecasting, revenue growth, and commercial performance.
- Lead scope discussions, contract negotiations, and fee management where required.
- Ensure strong financial governance and operational efficiency across the portfolio.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the project team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Support career development through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Oversee resource planning and team structure to ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in client services, account leadership, or agency management.
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and global client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving growth and profitability.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing client partnerships and winning new business.
- Native Dutch speaker preferred, with full professional fluency in English.

- This role is based in Amsterdam. You are required to work from the Amsterdam office (in Noord) at least 3 days per week.
