This is a unique role and an excellent opportunity for a developing HR professional. In this role, you will work from the Peoria Proving Grounds (PPG Facility) where you act as the local/facility HR support, support Hourly, Support and Management Payrolls, however, also help support two Global organizations in Earthmoving (VP of MG/MTP Products and VP of Engineering/Product Development & Services).

This position provides direction and support to business units in the areas of staffing, employee development, employee counseling, training and performance management.

What You Will Do:

• Making recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employees, recruiting, turnover or training.
• Administering compensation programs; monitoring performance evaluation programs and revising as necessary.
• Handling employee relations issues, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
• Conducting organizational effectiveness assessments and recommending programs to address issues.

Additional Info:

• The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL
• This role requires 5 days a week in office
• Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
• Sponsorship is not available
• Domestic travel up to 5%

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
