Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using authorized equipment and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of business areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
- Operate assigned communication equipment and coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
