Ultrasound Tech Non Certified

Overview

Performs peripheral vascular and/or echocardiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  Uses independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to perform state of the art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.  Administers medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician.

Qualifications

Education Required

·         Currently enrolled / completed ultrasound program

  

License, Certification and/or Registration

·         Registry eligible (Registry within 13 months of hire date)

·         BLS certification required within orientation period

·         MOAB required

Experience

·         One year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
