One California  Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Environmental Services Tech, you will actively perform a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary conditions of all campuses. Every day, you will  clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas following hospital infection-control standards.  Safely handle, transport, and dispose of bio-hazard waste, regular trash, and linens according to regulatory guidelines. To be successful in this role, you will operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and disinfectant sprayers. Converse, comprehend and communicate verbally in English.Respond to cleaning requests from nursing units, clinical staff, and supervisors in a timely manner.Restock supplies such as hand sanitizer, paper products, soap and PPE in assigned areas.Work tactfully and effectively with team members, patients and visitors.Maintain confidentiality of issues and materials designed as such.      Job Requirements Required Experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and proceduresProper handling/disposal of infectious wasteProper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals. Preferred Acute health-care work experience involving the use of heavy equipment such as buffers, extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums  Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
