Job Title: Sr. Marketing & Communications Specialist

Position Purpose

This position reports directly to the Regional Manager of Communications and develops communication strategies to keep colleagues informed and advance organizational priorities.  The role ensures transparency, supports a strong culture, and promotes alignment across Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic (THMA).

As a Sr. Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will:

  • Supports the development of THMA communication strategies to engage colleagues and they are informed of key priorities.  
  • Produces communication plans, news stories, newsletters, and digital media strategies to inform and engage internal stakeholders.
  • Assists leaders in developing internal messaging and establishing communication priorities.
  • Facilitates planning to promote participation in town halls and internal campaigns, ensuring that leadership messages are clearly delivered.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, journalists, and influencers.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns that align with the hospital's goals and objectives.
  • Proactively contacts news media to promote clinical initiatives, its hospitals, and service lines.
  • Writes news releases, advisories, and other communications in support of media outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Information Technology or related field.

  • 5+ years experience in developing and maintaining healthcare websites and intranet sites, coordinating traditional and digital marketing plans.

  • Experience with CMS tools, HTML, analytics tools, social media, and other digital platforms. (required)

Pay Range:

  • $35.80 - $55.54 per hour

  • Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
