We are customer-driven, fast-moving, and collaborative. We value curiosity, experimentation, and people who use AI as a practical tool to deliver meaningful results.
About the Partner Team
The Partner team is one of Gen’s most important growth engines. We work with carriers, financial institutions, retailers, and employee benefits platforms to bring Gen’s solutions to market through co-branded and white-label experiences.
This B2B2C platform enables partners to embed Gen’s cyber safety, identity, and financial wellness products directly into their own customer journeys. APIs, SDKs, and Identity & Access Management are central to how we scale.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Principal Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Gen’s partner-facing APIs and SDKs.
This is a highly technical individual contributor role focused on the integration layer that powers our partner ecosystem. You will shape API standards, SDK strategy, authentication flows, and developer onboarding, while improving integration speed, reliability, and overall developer experience.
The right candidate has built API and SDK products at scale, understands IAM as a product capability, and can confidently navigate both architecture discussions with engineers and business trade-offs with senior stakeholders.
What You Will Own
API and SDK Platform
Own the roadmap, standards, and quality bar for Gen’s partner-facing APIs and SDKs.
Define strong practices across versioning, error handling, backward compatibility, lifecycle management, and developer usability.
Shape SDK strategy across web, iOS, and Android, balancing simplicity with rich functionality.
Developer and Integration Experience
Own the end-to-end experience for partner technical teams, from evaluation to production launch.
Improve time-to-first-integration through documentation, sandbox environments, clear error messaging, and better feedback loops.
Define what “easy to integrate” means for Gen and drive that standard into every release.
Identity and Access Management
Drive product strategy for authentication, authorization, SSO, token management, and user lifecycle flows across partner integrations.
Treat IAM as a core product surface that impacts trust, conversion, and end-user experience.
Roadmap and Partner Delivery
Balance short-term partner commitments with long-term platform scalability and architectural integrity.
Work directly with partner product and engineering teams to understand technical constraints and translate them into clear requirements.
Lead execution across Partner, Sales, Engineering, and Product teams globally.
What You Will Bring
6–8 years of product management experience, including 3–5 years owning API and/or SDK products in B2B or B2B2C environments.
Strong experience with API design, versioning, SDK architecture, and developer experience.
Hands-on fluency with REST APIs, multi-platform SDKs, and IAM standards such as OAuth, OIDC, and SSO.
Experience working with large strategic or white-label partners such as telcos, financial institutions, retailers, or enterprise channel partners.
Ability to translate technical trade-offs into business impact, including partner time-to-market, integration reliability, and channel growth.
Excellent communication skills with both engineering and executive stakeholders.
A data-driven mindset, using telemetry and partner feedback to prioritize and improve.
Experience using AI tools in product workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
