Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project System (SAP PS) Senior Consultant with 12–15 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PS solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP PS with experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and end-to-end project lifecycle management. The consultant should possess hands-on experience in configuring Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Activities, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Settlement, and Progress Tracking, along with a strong understanding of SAP PS master data including Project Profiles, Network Types, and Planning Profiles.
The role requires experience in troubleshooting issues related to project creation, cost planning, budgeting, settlement, and project execution, while ensuring seamless integration with SAP modules such as MM, FI/CO, Procurement, and Logistics. Experience in SAP S/4HANA Project System, SAP Fiori applications for PS, data migration activities or SAP Data Services, and SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) is highly preferred. Candidates should also have a sound understanding of project management principles, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and SAP PS or EPPM certification would be an added advantage. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for collaborating with business users, cross-functional teams, and project leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead SAP PS solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Configure and maintain SAP PS functionalities including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Activities, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Availability Control, Project Scheduling, and Project Settlement.
Configure project profiles, network types, planning profiles, settlement rules, and related master data.
Support project lifecycle processes from project creation through execution, monitoring, settlement, and closure.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to project creation, cost planning, budgeting, settlement, and project reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP PS solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP PS and other SAP modules including MM, FI/CO, Procurement, and Logistics.
Support data migration activities, data validation, and cutover planning.
Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production support.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and training materials.
Provide functional guidance to junior consultants and business users.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
