In this role, you will develop features in engineering platforms, pipelines, and developer tooling that improve daily developer experience and velocity. You will contribute to AI-assisted workflows such as automation, testing support, and code generation, partner with teams to adopt shared tools and practices, and help instrument engineering health signals so teams can understand where systems are working well and where they need improvement. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in software engineering, build systems, service architecture, and secure development practices, with exposure to or strong interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows. They should be able to debug and operate within complex engineering environments, learn across systems and tooling, and contribute to shared, governed platforms that help raise consistency across the organization. Candidates for this role should demonstrate an emerging engineering excellence mindset. The right person will not simply complete assigned features but look for ways to make shared systems simpler, more reliable, and easier for other engineers to use. They should show curiosity about how developers work, care deeply about quality and maintainability, and be willing to grow across engineering systems, tooling, and AI-enabled workflows. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience. Data Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
