SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Yardi Administrator provides strategic and technical leadership for ALCO's Yardi environment, ensuring the effective administration, security, integration, and optimization of Yardi systems across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role serves as the organization's subject matter expert for Yardi applications, collaborating with internal stakeholders and Yardi representatives to support business operations, implement system enhancements, and maintain system performance and reliability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Yardi Administration & System Management

  • Serve as ALCO's subject matter expert for all technical, security, and integration needs related to Yardi systems and software.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for all Yardi systems and software.
  • Manage Yardi system administration, upgrades, timelines, and system availability to ensure security and uptime.
  • Maintain document template repositories that support Yardi workflows and functions.
  • Stay current on new Yardi features and lead adoption of applicable enhancements.
Project Management & Business Partnership
  • Manage timelines and goals for Yardi implementation projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Yardi Support, internal IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business functions to configure and maintain data for new entities in Yardi.
  • Work with Yardi representatives to evaluate and integrate new products.
  • Participate in meetings to provide technical guidance and support decision-making.
Technical Support & Documentation
  • Empower the IT Support Team to provide frontline support for Yardi users.
  • Collaborate with internal IT staff to document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions.
  • Document processes, system fixes, and best practices within the IT knowledge base.
  • Open, monitor, and follow up on Yardi support cases to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide backup support for the IT team on Yardi-related issues as needed.
  • Perform other Yardi-related IT duties as assigned.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Internal:
Works closely with the Director of Information Technology, IT Coordinator, IT team members, and employees across all levels of the organization.
External:
Maintains professional relationships with Yardi representatives, vendors, technicians, suppliers, and other external partners supporting Yardi systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in an administrator capacity; education and certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Yardi or a comparable property management platform.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with structured data systems, including SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $100,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic considerations (where applicable), and internal equity.
  • In addition to base pay, eligible team members may participate in performance-based incentives where applicable.
