Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to support a high-impact DoD space operations effort based in Albuquerque, NM (Kirtland AFB), focused on securing advanced ground systems and mission-critical capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
PMP certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III (or equivalent).
Minimum of 10 years of experience leading DoD programs, including cost, schedule, and performance responsibility.
Proven experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) or space ground systems programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-contractor efforts in a high-visibility environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead overall program execution, ensuring alignment with contract objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.
Manage program resources, including personnel, subcontractors, and materials, to achieve performance and delivery milestones.
Develop, maintain, and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Gantt charts to track progress and dependencies.
Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
Serve as the primary interface with Government stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and performance reports.
Drive proactive issue resolution, risk management, and continuous improvement across all program areas.
Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements, including SSC and DoD standards.
