Here, you can develop your skills at a company that cares about its employees, its communities, and its culture.  NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television industry.  Internships at NBC & Telemundo Connecticut are paid and do not require course credit.  Pay rate is minimum wage.  NBC Connecticut & Telemundo Connecticut are looking for a team player to join our Sales team.  As a Sales intern on this team, you will support the development of multiplatform campaigns and strategies that drive advertising revenue for the stations.  Responsibilities:  Create PowerPoint presentations on business trends and actively participate in all meetings.  Assist in pipeline management by pulling through zero share business, prospective lucrative business categories and cold calling.  Assist digital sales planner by helping to manage all phases of the pre- and post-sale digital campaign process, including creating media plans, gathering campaign assets and optimizing campaigns.  Participate in brainstorming sessions with sales team to develop creative solutions for advertisers  Generate ideas for advertisers that could lead to new sources of revenue – stay on top of current events, market trends, emerging business categories and competitive efforts to identify innovative revenue streams  Ensure customer satisfaction in pre- and post-sales service.
