We design and operate high-acuity, in-person clinics across the United States. The Role We are seeking a Primary Care Clinician (FNP, MD, or DO) for a 1099 contract role at our Los Angeles, CA clinic. This position requires an on-site commitment of 4–5 hours per week. What You'll Work On Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and manage acute and chronic illnesses while considering their impact on mental health Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring safe and effective use, while considering potential interactions with psychiatric medications Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings, integrating the findings with mental health care plans Educate members on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation integrated with mental health care plans Participate in ongoing professional development and attend regular team meetings Uphold Amae Health's commitment to providing compassionate, holistic, and culturally sensitive care What You'll Have NP Degree from an accredited school or MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in California Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty For NP PCP candidates, minimum of 5 years RN experience prior to PCP licensure and 1+ year experience as FNP after completion of clinical hours preferred Previous experience working independently as a PCP Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and embrace a...
