- Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack (frontend, backend, APIs, databases)
- Manage code through Git/GitHub — version control, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to speed up development, debugging, and code review
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) for their own features
- Coach other developers on how to test their own code — reviewing test coverage, flagging edge cases, and explaining testing rationale during pairing sessions and code reviews
- Establish and maintain lightweight testing standards, checklists, and best practices for the team
- Deploy and monitor features in production, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Collaborate with product and design to scope and deliver features end-to-end
