Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing policies that safeguard the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and uphold data standards. The practitioner facilitates efficient data collection, storage, access, and usage processes while championing data stewardship initiatives. Through these efforts, the role ensures comprehensive and effective governance of data assets, supporting the organization s commitment to reliable and secure data management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data governance challenges and recommend improvements.
- Monitor compliance with data governance policies and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to promote data governance awareness.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Analysis & Interpretation, Data Governance, Python (Programming Language), Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in designing and implementing data quality frameworks and controls.
- Ability to work with data visualization tools to present data governance metrics effectively.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline data governance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and improve governance practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analysis & Interpretation.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
