The core hours are Monday through Thrusday from 5:00 am until 3:00 pm.This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: As a Fabrication Technician, you will manufacture parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals in accordance with blueprint specifications. You will collaborate effectively with team members to complete assigned tasks while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaged work environment by following all company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe equipment operation, and participation in 5S practices.Interpret travel documents, blueprints, and verbal or written instructions to set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery such as shear machines, Finn Power, Prima, horizontal press brakes/benders, and Trumpf lasers.Maintain expected production progress within your assigned area and communicate any concerns in a timely manner.Identify opportunities for process improvements and conduct root cause analysis to address quality or production issues.Ensure product quality by measuring finished parts using tools such as tape measures and calipers, performing visual inspections, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors.Support team flexibility by cross-training and filling in for other roles or job functions as needed.Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure proper functionality.Prepare machines for daily operation, including setup verification and completion of safety checks.Inspect finished products for defects and confirm compliance with quality standards.Communicate equipment issues and improvement suggestions to supervisors or team leads.This job posting describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
