HR Services Compensations Analyst

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a HR Services Compensations Analyst.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary

This position primarily support on analizing and administering compensation programs for the Eaton’s organizations in the Caribbean region, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness. The individual will work with the HR Services and Compensation COE to provide HR services support and analysis including total rewards programs, market data analysis, new implementations, process improvements and other related to compensation and HR services programs for the region.

Job Responsibilities A. Prepare analysis, reports, audits and checks related to the Compensation processes, such as: ranges, job market matching, market movements, market adjustments, promotions, premium calculations, retroactive, among other compensation programs. B. Support market surveys Eaton’s participation related to compensation, benefits and HR practices by analyzing data, job matching and general information for the region, assuring timely and accurate completion. C. Administer job descriptions data base for hourly and salaried positions in the region, in accordance with the formats, policies and procedures established by Eaton. D. Prepare compensation offers (PACT) and perform payment actions (pay actions) for internal and external candidates, following recruitment and compensation policies and procedures. E. Prepare documents to support pay changes and present for payroll processes, finance requirements and/or audit evidences process. F. Support tasks assigned for region ranges update, annual merit process, profit plan, strategic meetings, among others analysis. G. Investigate compensation cases and report issues identified to drive effective customer service and continuous improvements in HR services. H. Perform internal audit of systems (HRMS, Case Management, HOP, etc) to identify opportunities and support HR and employee data integrity. I. Coordinate progressive promotions or skill progressions compensation programs for the region as per policies and procedures. J. Administer Car Allowance process and Toll Car recharges in DR to keep data base updated, support customers’ needs and auditing. K. Lead activities related to Compensation cases inquires received through HR Services Catalog or direct customers contact: Job Evaluation, Job title creation, Job description benchmarking, compensation inquiries, compensation complaints, among others; assuring service level agreements, quality and standard work process follow. L. Lead and collaborate HR services projects to drive innovation, growth and continuous improvement. M. Train new HR co-workers and managers of people on HR Services and Compensation policies and procedures for the region. N. Ensure process compliance with country law, and Eaton’s policies and procedures for all activities on its responsibility.

2.1- Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): 1\. Execute 100% of monthly safety activities assigned, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator. 2\. Assist and completed all EHS training as required.

Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Psychology, Accountanting, Technology, Industrial Engineering or related areas.

Years and area of experience required

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar positions, Compensation and Benefits support processes.

Preferred experience with Salary Survey, compensation analysis, job evaluation, and Salary ranges development.

Analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail with large data sets.

Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills to effectively translate data to varying audiences.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and virtual work environment.

Must handle sensitive, confidential matters and situations with maturity and discretion.

Basic knowledge of government regulations related to compensation and human resources standard practices.

Fully bilingual (English/Spanish), fluent speaking skills.

Basic knowledge of: Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc) Preferable: Office 365, advanced Excel skills and/or Human Resources management softwares.
