We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–10 years of experience in finance, taxation, and accounting, with strong expertise in GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations.

As a Senior Finance Associate, you will play a critical role in managing statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end closing activities, and ensuring adherence to applicable tax regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external consultants to maintain accurate financial records and streamline finance processes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including return preparation, filing, reconciliation, and resolution of GST-related issues.
  • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, reconciliation, and issuance of TDS certificates while ensuring compliance with statutory timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to direct and indirect taxation regulations and stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ledger reconciliations, and accounting entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring timely completion of accounting activities.
  • Monitor statutory compliance requirements and coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing tax workings, assessments, notices, and responses to regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial controls and reporting efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2–10 years of experience in finance, taxation, or accounting functions.
  • Professional qualification or articleship exposure from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial reporting and data analysis.
