Head of Business Development

We are expanding and seeking a Full-time Head of Business Development to join our Cyprus office.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in the Forex industry, particularly in emerging markets. This is a high-level strategic role with significant impact and excellent earning potential—perfect for an ambitious individual ready to drive growth, lead and scale a high-performing team, and take our business development to the next stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the business development strategy across emerging regions
  • Lead, manage, and expand a team of Business Development and Client Relations specialists
  • Identify and secure new opportunities, targeting high-value clients and strategic partners (e.g., IBs, Affiliates, Money Managers)
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners, clients, and other key stakeholders
  • Proactively source and onboard trading professionals via social, professional, and industry-specific channels
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify and maximize effective local marketing channels
  • Drive revenue growth in the region by enhancing lead conversion, client retention, and partner performance
  • Negotiate partnership terms aligned with company rebate and commission structures
  • Track and assess partner and affiliate performance to ensure KPIs are achieved or exceeded
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, providing strategic insights to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
  • Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and meetings

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of senior-level business development experience in the Forex sector, ideally with exposure toemerging markets
  • Proven track record in leading teams and delivering commercial targets in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Strong background in growing market share and developing strategic partnerships
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets and regulatory frameworks
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities
  • Self-driven, results-focused, and able to work independently under pressure
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a related field
