Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Athletic Trainer Lead, you will manage a continuum of services, providing care to patients requiring mobility training and strengthening, driving optimal health and well-being through the rehabilitation process. Every day you will work as a Senior Athletic Trainer, applying your expertise to patient care, utilizing rehabilitation processes, and leading by example to support high-quality patient outcomes and recovery. To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced athletic training expertise, strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of rehabilitation processes, and a passion for promoting and restoring optimal health for your patients.
- Assists determining placement and function of AT staff at various locations.
- Assists in coordinating event coverage for numerous events contracted yearly by MSM.
- Assists with personnel organization, with leads, ATIs, wellness, and triage.
- Assists in overseeing Learn compliance for all ATs.
- Assesses and monitors competency requirements for ATs.
- Lead meetings with AT, wellness, and Marketing staff of Mercy Sports Medicine work group.
Job Requirements
Required
- CAATE accredited professional Athletic
- Training program Bachelor's in Athletic training or related field
- Two (2) years of athletic training experience
- Current Certification by the board of Certification for Athletic Trainers Registered as an Athletic trainer
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart
- Association within 90 days of hire
- Current valid driver's license
