Provider Relations Representative - USFHP

Under the supervision of the USFHP leadership team, the Provider Relations Representative functions as a liaison among the contracted physician/specialist under the USFHP Health Plan. This position provides on-going communication, in-service, orientation, and direction to these contracted providers. The Provider Relations Representative manages provider rosters to ensure accuracy of our provider data that supports our claims system and provider directory.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working with physicians in a managed care/IPA, Medical group, health plan or MSO environment with Provider Relations or Customer Service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management.
• 2 years managed care Provider Relations experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and IDX.
• Advanced knowledge of managed care principles and methodologies.
