McKesson’s U.S. Pharmaceutical Distribution business is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications & Content Marketing to support the Sales Operations & Governance organization.
This highly visible role will serve as a strategic communications partner to the executive lead for Sales Operations & Governance and the broader leadership team. The Senior Manager will shape the SO&G narrative, lead executive and employee communications, oversee editorial planning and develop content that brings the organization’s priorities, progress and impact to life for internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute an integrated communications and content strategy aligned with SO&G priorities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive lead and broader leadership team.
Draft and edit executive messages, organizational announcements, presentations, talking points, scripts and meeting materials.
Build and maintain a clear SO&G narrative, message hierarchy and supporting proof points.
Lead communications strategy and storyline development for Quarterly Business Reviews and other executive presentations.
Manage editorial planning across internal and external communications, including an integrated editorial calendar.
Identify and develop compelling stories about business performance, transformation, employees, customers and organizational milestones.
Lead communications for organizational changes, strategic initiatives, town halls, employee engagement and recognition.
Establish effective processes for intake, prioritization, approvals, publishing and measurement.
Partner closely with leadership, executive support, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, creative teams and other stakeholders.
Lead and develop communications talent while remaining hands-on in writing, editing and execution.
Manage multiple priorities and accelerated deadlines with sound judgment, organization and follow-through.
Minimum Requirement
Degree and typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, business or a related field.
Critical Skills
Eight or more years of progressive experience in corporate communications, executive communications, employee communications, content marketing or a related discipline.
Experience advising senior leaders and supporting complex business or organizational priorities.
Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and presentation-development skills.
Demonstrated experience leading editorial planning and integrated communications strategies.
Strong business acumen, executive presence and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience leading people, projects or cross-functional teams.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a large, matrixed or highly regulated organization.
Experience supporting sales, operations, transformation or governance teams.
Background spanning both communications and content marketing.
Experience developing content for internal and external audiences.
Healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution or B2B experience.

Salary: 102,000.00 - 136,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.
