The Merchandising Data Services Department has an opening for an Analyst II Supplier Support.

This position is located in Pleasanton, CA.  

Main responsibilities:

  • On board new vendors to the organization and communicate requirements and best practices
  • Write Help center documents and maintain supplier support details 
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements pertaining to supplier documentation 
  • Document business procedures, instructions and reference materials 
  • Evaluate Supplier acquisitions and consolidations and execute related changes within multiple systems 
  • Support suppliers and internal clients on Partner Portal Application 
  • Implement new business transactions and business processes and provide problem solving to external partners
  • Independently perform root cause analysis and develop comprehensive solutions to system and procedure issues
  • Provide support to business partners on procedures and requirements  
  • Perform analysis and provide periodic reports on progress and opportunities 

 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent job experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in retail or manufacturing industry with business processes and systems 

  • Strong analytical skills required 

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills and ability to pivot focus quickly 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers at all levels of experience
  • Sollid problem solving skills for business and technical issues, applying good judgment
  • Must be service oriented and interact with a supportive approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative.
  • Ability to handle challenges and adapt to change.
