Solder Technician, PTH & Selective We are looking for a skilled PTH & Selective Solder Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with through-hole soldering on PCBs and operating selective solder machines, including programming and setup. The technician will be responsible for ensuring all components are properly soldered and function correctly per IPC standards. The candidate should be able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: * Solder electronic components on PCBs using through-hole techniques.* Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on selective solder machines.* Program, adjust, and monitor selective solder machines to maintain proper solder levels, temperatures, and flux application.* Follow assembly instructions, schematics, and diagrams to ensure correct component placement and orientation.* Inspect assembled products to ensure proper functionality and workmanship per IPC standards.* Repair defects in soldered components such as missing/insufficient solder, lifted leads, solder bridges, cold solder joints, wrong orientation, and etc.* Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with ESD and safety requirements.* Meet production quotas and deadlines. Qualifications: * At least 3 years of hands-on experience with through-hole soldering on PCBs.* Proven experience operating and programming selective solder machines.* Ability to use hand tools and equipment such as soldering irons, tweezers, and microscopes.* Ability to read and interpret machine programs, setup sheets, and work instructions.* Good eyesight and manual dexterity.* High attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.* Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: * High school diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent.* Familiarity with assembly instructions, schematics, and diagrams.* J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 certifications.* Familiarity with SMT processes and pick & place machine operation.* Experience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems.Even if you don't meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply.
