We are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Product) to help us on our AI Agent Management mission. In this role, you will be managing squads dedicated to building the core product features that allow our customers to secure and govern their agentic ecosystems. We are looking for a leader who views API and Event management as the critical plumbing for a world defined by autonomous AI agents, LLM proxies, and complex tool executions.
As an Engineering Manager (Product), you will be the bridge between technical excellence and product vision. You will work as a peer with Product Management, sharing a common passion for our product vision and helping to shape the roadmap. And you will ensure our architecture is as ambitious as our strategy. You will champion AI-assisted development practices to accelerate the delivery of high-impact features while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. You will foster a culture of innovation and speed within your engineering squads. You will care deeply about our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the engineering of production-grade products and features for AI agents, including LLM proxies, MCP server orchestration, and A2A protocol governance.
Translate the "agent-first" vision into robust technical solutions, leveraging our API and Event management pillars to provide agents with secure context and tools.
Contribute to product strategy by translating customer needs into robust technical solutions
Actively participate in architecture and code reviews, ensuring the team leverages AI-assisted tools for maximum velocity
Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring every line of code adds tangible value to our users
Proactively communicate across departments to align technical execution with enterprise objectives
Hire and coach world-class engineers, focusing on technical growth and product passion
Be proactive in driving the resolution of software quality defects
Align team objectives with product and enterprise objectives

AI & Automation Mindset

Champion AI-assisted development practices across your teams, helping engineers effectively leverage coding assistants, automated testing, and AI-powered workflows
Understand AI/ML concepts and how they intersect with API infrastructure - particularly AI agents, A2A protocol, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) - to inform technical direction

Essential Skills
A strong passion for product innovation and deep technical hands-on expertise
5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of strategic thinking
Demonstrated ability to lead technical squads while remaining active in architectural decisions
Proficient in spoken and written English
Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and SDLC
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices (e.g., Cursor, AI code review, automated testing)
Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they intersect with API infrastructure (e.g., AI agents, A2A protocol, MCP)
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
Experience and understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, API, security, data, integration, and application layers
Desired Skills
Experience working on API Management software,or Identity and Access Management software, or any B2B software sold to central IT
Strong CI/CD and DevOps background with modern tooling.
Experience leading distributed or remote-first teams.
Track record of using data and KPIs to drive team and project performance.
Experience with Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) or similar scaled agile frameworks.
