Please note this is a 6-month internship opportunity starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for individuals who have recently completed or are very close to finishing their studies. There may be a possibility for extension beyond the initial term and potential for longer-term opportunities, but any extension or future role is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs and individual performance.

About the role: An intern looking to expand their experience in MRP and inventory and is responsible for keeping track of all R&D inventory. Their main duties include preparing excel lists for purchase orders, inventory counts, organization of shelves with proper labelling and bins, logging all inventory in an organized spreadsheet, and ensuring that quantities of product components, equipment, and supplies are always maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review drawings and Bill of materials to prepare excel sheets for component orders with quantities based on demand.
- Keep track of raw materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and stock.
- Manage inventory using a Master excel sheets and maintaining it with frequent inventory counts.
- Prevent shortages of supply or manage unexpected shortages.
- Send order requests to the office manager or purchasing team for any component needs.
- Order materials as needed.
- Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data.
- Review incoming and outgoing orders and sort them on shelves with labels accordingly.
- Create, update, and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with pricing information.
Required qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, completed or currently in progress, is required
- Experience using excel for inventory tracking and master lists.
- Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Must possess attention to details, organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Software including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity reading mechanical drawings (CAD drawings) and Bills of Material.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments with limited time constraints while working consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing priorities and unforeseen events.
- Must be able to perform multiple high-level tasks within structured timelines.
- Experience using electronic document systems such as Windchill.

Nous recherchons un(e) stagiaire souhaitant développer son expérience en planification des besoins en matières (MRP) et en gestion des stocks. La personne sera responsable du suivi de l'ensemble des stocks de R&D. Ses principales responsabilités comprendront la préparation de fichiers Excel pour les commandes d'achat, la réalisation des inventaires, l'organisation des étagères avec un étiquetage et des bacs appropriés, l'enregistrement de tous les stocks dans un tableau de suivi structuré, ainsi que le maintien des niveaux de composants, d'équipements et de fournitures nécessaires.
Vos responsabilités comprendront :
- Examiner les plans techniques et les nomenclatures (Bills of Materials) afin de préparer des fichiers Excel pour les commandes de composants, avec les quantités requises en fonction de la demande.
- Assurer le suivi des matières premières, des équipements, des expéditions, des livraisons entrantes et des stocks.
- Gérer les stocks à l'aide d'un fichier Excel maître et le maintenir à jour grâce à des inventaires réguliers.
- Prévenir les ruptures de stock ou gérer les pénuries imprévues.
- Envoyer les demandes de commande au responsable administratif ou à l'équipe des achats pour les besoins en composants.
- Commander les matériaux selon les besoins.
- Réconcilier les écarts entre les stocks physiques et les données informatiques.
- Vérifier les commandes entrantes et sortantes et les ranger sur les étagères avec un étiquetage approprié.
- Créer, mettre à jour et maintenir les dossiers d'achats fournisseurs, incluant les informations tarifaires.
Qualifications requises
- Baccalauréat (Licence) obtenu ou en cours d'obtention.
- Expérience de l'utilisation d'Excel pour le suivi des stocks et la gestion de listes maîtres.
- Excellentes compétences en organisation, communication et collaboration.
- Solides compétences en documentation.
- Grand souci du détail ainsi que d'excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles, relationnelles et de communication, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
- Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint et Word.
Qualifications souhaitées
- Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans mécaniques (dessins CAO) et des nomenclatures (Bills of Materials).
- Aptitude à travailler avec une supervision limitée, à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à établir les priorités dans des délais restreints, tout en évoluant efficacement dans un environnement dynamique.
