Journeyman Electrician with RBG Electrical Macon, GA Full Time Experienced Share JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN Electrical company needs highly motivated electricians with 3-5 or more years of commercial or industrial experience. POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial or industrial settings. Fire alarm or low voltage expertise is a plus for this position.JOB DUTIES:Inspects and evaluates electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely; determines whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code. Studies blueprints and schematics in order to plan the material and labor needed to accomplish tasks. Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.Perform related work as assigned.  REQUIREMENTS:At least 3-5 years commercial or industrial experience as Journeyman.Must be able to pass Criminal background checkWillingness to TravelAbility to read blueprints, bend and thread rigid conduit, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing and troubleshooting.Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objectsAbility to ascend/descend laddersGood communication skills -- ability to interact well with project managers, subordinates, vendors, other trades and professionals.Experience:3-5 years Industrial or commercial experience preferred.Previous service/maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.Needs to be proficient working with Live switchgear along with the understanding and use of the proper PPE.Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
