Maintenance and Investments Engineer is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of development projects—from feasibility and financial planning to execution and final delivery. The role combines technical engineering expertise with financial control, contract management, and investment performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investment planning activities through financial and strategic analysis to support business growth and profitability.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and investment opportunities, covering both technical and financial aspects.
  • Prepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets in line with business goals and available resources.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis and evaluate ROI, IRR, NPV, and payback period for proposed investments.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, risk assessment, and scenario planning.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasts and funding requirements to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Prepare initial cost estimates and develop detailed project budgets.
  • Track project spending against approved budgets and identify variances.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to manage budget deviations effectively.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities without affecting quality, safety, or delivery timelines.
  • Maintain cost reports and financial dashboards to provide clear visibility on project performance.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and commercial to ensure financial evaluations reflect business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, mechanical engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project/investment management

  • Strong understanding of project finance, budgeting, and cost control

  • Experience with contract management processes

  • Project management tools (MS Project)

  • ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Advanced level of English language

  • Ability to live in İstanbul or Kocaeli
