Job Description & Summary

About the role:

The Finance Senior Associate supports financial planning, analysis and decision-making by partnering with Finance Managers and business leaders to deliver valuable financial insights. This collaborative role contributes to business performance, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and identifying opportunities for financial improvement. Working within a people-focused Finance function, the successful candidate will build strong relationships across business areas, Finance leadership and Centres of Excellence. The role offers exposure to a broad range of finance activities, providing opportunities to develop expertise, take on increasing responsibility and contribute to the firm's commercial and operational success. 

What your days will look like:

  • Partner with Finance Leaders and key stakeholders to provide financial insight, analysis and commercial guidance that supports business strategy and decision-making.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and management information reporting, delivering forward-looking insights to drive business performance and profitability.

  • Analyse financial results and key performance indicators, identifying trends, risks and opportunities while recommending performance improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards and firm policies, supporting audit, risk management and the delivery of accurate financial information.

This role is for you if:

  • Working towards or holding a recognised finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business drivers and financial performance.

  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, including IFRS 15.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted working relationships.

  • Proficient in Excel with a technology-enabled mindset, committed to continuous improvement and driving change through innovation and automation.
