Business owner of the category and component supplier relationships, including the management and negotiation of contractual agreements and related negotiations and executions. Achieve established commitments on total cost results, supply, quality and compliance adherence, and on-time delivery. Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles. OR equivalent experience. Deep industry knowledge relevant to engineering or manufacturing for the consumer electronics hardware. Demonstrated experience in market analysis to dissect market size, players, customers, growth, technology replacements/forecasts, pricing trends, etc., to formulate sourcing strategies. Experience in delivering best in class total cost of ownership (TCO), continuity of supply (COS), and in building partnerships. Expertise in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers before RFx is conducted. Combination of business and technical knowledge base, particularly for assigned categories. Project/timeline (Consumer Electronics Integrated Project Management) adherence experiences. Ability to articulate points of view with executive management but execute plans when directed. Passionate about opportunities to establish new approach to sourcing. Ability to communicate and think strategically to support ideology with facts.
