We are seeking a Sr. Director, Frontline Marketing - Ecuador to lead the strategic marketing agenda for one of the most distinctive and dynamic markets in Latin America. This role will be responsible for shaping long-term portfolio growth, influencing system-wide priorities, and ensuring that the Ecuador business is focused on the initiatives that will create sustainable value for consumers, customers, bottling partners, and The Coca-Cola System.

Success in this role requires a unique combination of strategic marketing excellence and leadership maturity. The ideal candidate will be a business leader first and a marketer second, capable of defining winning growth strategies, building strong brands, aligning stakeholders across the system, and leading teams through complexity and change. This leader must have the vision to elevate conversations above short-term challenges and organizational distractions, maintaining relentless focus on the priorities that drive long-term growth and business impact.

What You'll Do for Us

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead the strategic marketing agenda for Ecuador, defining long-term growth priorities and influencing system-wide decisions that accelerate sustainable category, brand, and portfolio growth.

• Act as the chief marketing strategist for the Ecuador business, ensuring alignment across The Coca-Cola Company, bottling partners, commercial teams, and franchise leadership on the initiatives that matter most for business growth and value creation.

• Set and lead the portfolio growth agenda, identifying the biggest opportunities to recruit consumers, expand consumption occasions, strengthen brand equity, and increase category participation.

• Translate consumer, shopper, customer, cultural, and commercial insights into strategic actions that unlock growth opportunities unique to Ecuador.

• Champion a locally relevant growth agenda that balances global brand strategies with Ecuadorian consumer realities, cultural dynamics, and market opportunities.

• Lead portfolio prioritization and resource allocation decisions, ensuring investments are focused on the brands, occasions, and initiatives with the greatest potential to drive sustainable growth.

Category & Brand Growth:

Coca-Cola Trademark

• Strengthen Coca-Cola's leadership position by accelerating consumer recruitment and increasing brand relevance across key consumer segments.

• Lead strategies that reinforce Coca-Cola Original Taste as the superior and most iconic choice within the category.

• Expand consumption by identifying and scaling high-potential Uplift occasions, driving both recruitment and frequency.

Sparkling Portfolio

• Lead the long-term growth strategy for the Sparkling portfolio, ensuring clear brand roles, strong value propositions, and differentiated consumer experiences across categories and occasions.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen portfolio relevance by building stronger connections with local culture, consumer passions, and emerging consumption trends.

• Develop growth platforms that unlock recruitment, increase consumption frequency, and expand participation across key consumer segments.

• Partner across the system to define innovation, renovation, and portfolio strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Hydration & Emerging Categories

• Drive accelerated growth across the Hydration and broader Stills portfolio by identifying opportunities to recruit consumers, expand consumption occasions, and strengthen category competitiveness.

• Develop strategies that win across both established and emerging segments while addressing evolving consumer needs and marketplace dynamics.

• Leverage consumer insights, innovation, and integrated marketing to strengthen category leadership and build sustainable growth platforms for the future.

System Leadership & Execution:

• Drive alignment with bottling partners on portfolio priorities, category strategies, marketing investments, innovation plans, and execution calendars.

• Influence and align cross-functional leaders across Sales, Commercial, RGM, Finance, Franchise, Insights, Media, and Operations to ensure integrated execution and delivery of business objectives.

• Provide thought leadership through deep synthesis of consumer, customer, commercial, and marketplace insights, helping shape decisions at both business-unit and system levels.

• Ensure global and regional brand strategies are effectively localized to maximize impact and relevance in Ecuador.

• Establish clear success metrics and accountability mechanisms to ensure marketing investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

Leadership & Talent Development:

• Lead from the frontline with maturity, presence, and high standards, creating clarity, focus, and alignment across the Ecuador marketing organization and the broader system.

• Build a high-performing and accountable team culture that encourages strategic thinking, collaboration, innovation, and ownership.

• Serve as a role model for the organization, demonstrating resilience, integrity, humility, and sound judgment in a dynamic and often challenging business environment.

• Elevate conversations from tactical issues and short-term distractions to strategic priorities that create long-term enterprise value.

• Navigate complexity and organizational dynamics effectively, influencing stakeholders across the system while avoiding unproductive conflict and maintaining focus on business outcomes.

• Foster an environment of trust, constructive challenge, inclusion, and continuous development.

• Coach and develop talent through influence, mentorship, and example, building the next generation of marketing leaders.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Marketing, Brand Management, General Management, Category Leadership, or related commercial functions within FMCG, Consumer Products, Retail, or similarly dynamic industries.

• Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that drive brand equity, business performance, and market share gains.

• Demonstrated success leading portfolio strategy, brand transformation, consumer recruitment, and category growth initiatives.

• Strong understanding of beverage consumption occasions, portfolio architecture, brand building, and integrated marketing.

• Deep expertise in translating consumer, shopper, customer, and marketplace insights into actionable business strategies.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing large marketing investments and influencing key business and P&L decisions.

• Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, storytelling, communication, and executive presence.

• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments.

• Exceptional leadership maturity and organizational savvy, with the ability to lead through ambiguity, complexity, and change while maintaining focus on enterprise priorities.

• Track record of building high-performing teams, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
