Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Systems Operator in Pineville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing visitor and employee access, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and responding to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial distribution location.
- Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, issuing access materials as authorized, and directing individuals in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, receiving areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Support the flow of authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries while following site procedures for restricted areas and documenting required activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
