This role focuses on supporting daily ETL batch operations using Ab Initio and Teradata Vantage Cloud on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while enabling seamless deployments and collaborating across cross-functional teams. ## What you’ll do * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in daily DWH production ETL jobs based on Ab Initio and Teradata Vantage Cloud on GCP * Provide deployment support for new and enhanced applications, ensuring smooth releases * Collaborate with project managers, development, testing, and other stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency * Maintain and update remedy tickets with accurate incident and service request status * Provide on-call support for batch operations, including night and weekend coverage * Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement within existing processes * Optimise ETL job performance to enhance system efficiency and reliability * Contribute to proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives on Google Cloud Platform ## Who you are * An individual with 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio support within data warehousing environments * Experienced in working with Teradata Vantage and cloud-based data platforms, particularly GCP * Proficient in SQL and Unix scripting with strong problem-solving capabilities * Familiar with ITIL processes and service management practices * Knowledgeable in telecom domain concepts and data workflows * A collaborative professional who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams * A graduate or post-graduate in a technical discipline, preferably engineering ## Not a perfect fit?
