About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Working Foreman – Hardbanding to lead our Hardbanding department in Tananger.
This is a newly established leadership position created to strengthen daily production management. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership for two production shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while supporting and developing the production team.
This role combines technical welding knowledge with people leadership and requires someone who enjoys being present on the workshop floor and leading by example.

Lead and support two production shifts within the Hardbanding department.
Provide daily leadership, coaching, and guidance to approximately eight production employees.
Participate in daily production meetings with other department leaders.
Coordinate daily production activities and prioritize workflow.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
Support employees in technical and operational matters.
Build a positive and inclusive team environment across a multicultural workforce.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Perform practical workshop tasks when required and lead by example.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications
Welding background from an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to communicate in Norwegian or English.
Experience leading production or workshop teams.
Strong understanding of quality and HSE requirements.
Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work alongside the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Hardband welding or similar specialized welding processes.
Experience from oil & gas, offshore, shipbuilding, or heavy manufacturing.
Experience working in a shift-based production environment.
Continuous improvement mindset.
