Position Summary
The NA/PEX Actuarial team Senior Analyst will play a key role supporting fully insured pricing and forecasting activities. This position will contribute to the development of pricing methodologies, analysis of emerging experience, and enhancement of pricing tools and processes. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with Underwriting and cross-functional business partners to support strategic pricing decisions and drive continued improvement in pricing capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing assumptions, factors, and methodologies used in NA/PEX fully insured pricing.
- Support the maintenance, enhancement, and development of actuarial pricing tools and models.
- Perform pricing analyses and ad hoc studies to evaluate experience, identify trends, and recommend pricing improvements.
- Analyze and monitor emerging experience and communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Partner with Underwriting to support pricing strategies for new and renewing business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, Underwriting, and other business areas to develop and validate pricing assumptions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 1–2 years of actuarial or related analytical experience.
- Progress toward ASA designation with 2–5 actuarial exams completed.
- Experience working with healthcare, insurance, or other large, complex datasets.
- Prior healthcare industry experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$64,890.00 - $129,780.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
